Thanks for the mention Steve. It is a real honor to have my blog mentioned on your site.
For most of my gang counseling career I have looked up to you as a real source of inspiration. Someone who did not just talk but walked the walk.
Few would do what you have done. Going out into areas where "angels" fear to tread. Your work continues to motivate me to keep on doing what I can in my "neck of the woods" to keep these kids out of body bags.
I hope that my blog will provide a more global voice along with yours to get this message out. To educators, counselors, law enforcement, and to the gang kids alike.
The message that our future is worth fighting for.
