| Welcome!
I would like to thank the thousands of you who have visited gangwar.com. It is apparently a needed resource in this ever-growing battle against the violence that seems to be sweeping through the ranks of the youth of our nation. We are very excited here about the addition of our monthly newsletter and hope you bear with us as we fine tune the site to make it easy to navigate yet be full of current and changing information. I hope that you have registered to receive e-mail notification of the monthly updates. I am also preparing a "HERO OF THE HEART" room where you can register your program or organization's e mail address for others to contact and network with you. I have found in traveling around the country there are a lot of good people doing good things. Please be sure to e mail us with information about creative programs you know of that are fighting this battle with us. This month we are featuring a story and some other material from the Corpus Christi area. Their community is suffering from the symptoms of juvenile and gang violence and they are battling the problem on a somewhat united front.
